Pre Production: Storyboard

After doing design work I directed my attention to thumb nailing the scenes, working out the practicalities of conveying the story in a succinct way. Giving both of us a crucial points of the story, I allocated Kate the job of exploring the night time scene and gave myself the fight scene. For both scenes I wanted to convey a abstract and surreal feel, and I think we both captured this by distorting shadows and making the characters morph and merge into each other. As well as being aesthetically interesting, it helped us both in the process of visualising our story as an animation.
