Mouse House: Colouring artist

I've recently joined the 3rd year production Mouse House, as one of the background artists and colourist. The film consists of lots of landscapes and rural scenes so the backgrounds will be a major part in making the film a success. 

To get into the traditional painting style they gave me a test layout to experiment with, familiarising myself with the brushes and colour scheme. 

After completing the scene I took it to the art director to be reviewed, they really liked my application of paint and gave me two shits to get on with. The pointed out when painting the next senses to make the shadows more blocky instead of blending to fit in with the rest of the style. I took this constructive criticism on board and set about painting my next shot.
