2D: Box turn
This was one of the first challenges given to us in 2D, so not only was I focused on making the animation look right, but I was also familiarising myself with the programme TV Paint. Once I had got to grips with using the basic tools I started to draw out the key frames. When doing this I found it very helpful to create a faint background layer where I could draw out the arc of movement. By having this line I could easily follow the direction of the jump, and know where to draw out the next frame. This prior planning therefore made the movement look smooth.
After having completed all of the in between frames and I was happy with the overall shapes, I finished by tidying the lines up, going over them with a thicker black line. This made my rough sketchy work turn into a finished piece which I was proud of. Perhaps in the next few days I could add to it, with the addition of colour or a shadow.
